Touch sensor is built based on the latest technical solution used in the new series of STM ARM microcontrollers.

Keys designed capacitive sensor technologies are extremely sensitive to touch.

For my project I used LED dimmer ARM Cortex-M0 STM32F051RBT6, which is up to 18 capacitive sensing channels, linear, rotary and touch.

Factor in the selection was superior to other solutions price.

A major advantage is a lot of support producer who has released source code handling eg capacitive keys.


In the section of the firmware software is compiled using two keyboards. The linear keyboard layout project I was abandoned, it is not developed. It is not suitable for solutions beyond the laboratory.

The firmware is only demo version (is incomplete). It does not have EEPROM emulation implemented (does not save the brightness level, and the randomly time automatically turns off.

Full valuable software is designed for commercial only, so it will no to be published.
